Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Teaching Excellence 2015

On behalf of Pie Mathematics Association, the founder R Sivaraman has received Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Teaching Excellence 2015 provided by Marina Labs, Chennai. The award was declared to 32 persons from all over India by a peer selection committee. They also provide Kalam Scientific Excellence Award for 24 persons working in research institutes.


The criterion for Teaching Excellence Award is that the applicant should have at least ten years of teaching experience and should have published research papers along with guiding students for their career. This award is considered to be very prestigious among academic circles and this is another milestone in the illustrious history of Pie Mathematics Association.
